Stepping Back to Ponder on the Maverick Entrepreneur Naveen Jain — Admirable Altruism at Its Finest
Posted in Biz Stuff, Virtual Social at 1:07 am |

It’s most likely that you may have seen mention of Mr. Naveen Jain’s name as being the co-founder and CEO of Intelius, Inc. the predictive intelligence market leader. Beyond making the Forbes 400 Richest in America list in 2000, this enterprising entrepreneur has collected various coveted awards, most notably the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the WSA Industry Achievement Award, and the Albert Einstein Technology Medal, to cite but only three. But it certainly does not end at that point. For Mr. Jain and his family are every bit as enthusiastic about their beneficent acts and will seek to help out whenever possible. The young of today are doubtlessly humanity’s greatest hope or the future. They are also an essential motivation for this enterprising man and he leverages any occasion available to support them. This, too, is why he is so meticulously using every opening he can to offer assistance whenever it is feasible. In consequence, Naveen Jain, his relatives and the employees at Intelius give their time to various philanthropical agencies for example the University of Washington, the Overlake Service League, and TreeHouse. Obviously, they provide plenty of pecuniary aid, but more importantly they devote their time and energies to the most deprived and vulnerable children. Naveen Jain also donates to the Children’s Hospital, intent on restoring children’s health, as well. And since Naveen Jain is a graduate of XLRI Jamshedpur and the Indian Institute of Technology, it is no surprise that education enjoys a tremendously high status within his charitable works. This includes causes and good causes that are local, state, and nationwide. In doing this, Intelius and its CEO are supporting aid agencies and humanitarian institutions, like, for example the Rotary Club, Child Rights and You (CRY) and United Way.

Getting food over to the impoverished of the world is another great objective to Naveen Jain and those around him and it is of no concern in the least to him whether it is a baby in Uganda or Cambodia, or an aged homeless gentleman in Zurich or Marseilles needing help. While he is quite conscious that the aim of feeding every destitute person in the world can look like an insurmountable task, he also believes that the unfeasible can actually turn out to be realizable when everyone labors together. If this business leader really achieves his goals, there will come a conclusive end to destitution and hunger all over the world one day.

As a reader one could believe that as the head of a flourishing business and a devoted husband and parent as well would leave hardly any room for donating and support. However, he ensures that every one of his charitable enterprises is given all the support he can conceivably donate. This untiringly philanthropic businessman is undeniably way more than just a business maverick. He is, even more importantly, also a remarkable individual and a real community champion.
