Dating Talk: Find Great Expectations to Embrace
Posted in Online Dating, Support at 3:04 am |

Now, I cannot say I’m pleasantly satisfied being bored with most men (who isn’t?) and remain an honest woman. But, I’m not unsatisfied with the reality of life, either. I just mention it here as a delicious piece of info foreshadowing what I will shortly reveal to you

Last Monday yours truly was walking the dog, Corey, pondering about signing up for Great Expectations Dallas. Today, I write to you as a delightfully single member of the matchmaking service. No kidding, and I almost don’t believe it myself! It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you have read my old blog, you’re probably thinking, “You got some ’splainin to do, Lucy!”

So, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and felt encouraged. They’re for quality and professional singles who think dating should have a point.

Quite frankly, I’d never been interested in the ridiculous nightlife ritual most people have christened “The Dating Experience.” I heard it more than anyone should. Each night friends nagg, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “Please tell me you two are dating.”

“Ugh, and double ugh.” I say to them, without missing a beat. “Not after that last blind date you set me up on.”

“Don’t be silly,” they level with me. “You haven’t dated in a year, you wouldn’t know!”

That’s just my friend (on a good day) (hehe) Patty McCarthy. She beams common sense directly to my core to set me straight. People you can trust for fresh advice. No countering that, and I thank her for it.

Coming home to the theme of this post. As I selected from more than three hundred outfits (hah) and desirable, honest singles for my first singles event with Great Expectations, a revelation hit me honest. For the longest time, I hadn’t held too many emotional great expectations for dating and myself in the adventurous path of this world. Being single isn’t so bad, specifically if you use the freedom to date. Holding great expectations does wonders for those who believe.
