Built in the early twentieth-century as an elegant home, Hotel Villa delle Palme is a jewel of Liberty-style architecture entirely surrounded by thirty high palm trees. Converted to a hotel in 1950 and carefully renovated in 2002, the hotel still retains some of the original furniture, including precious Murano glass chandeliers and wall lamps.

Elegant and fitted with the most desirable comforts, the style and furniture in the rooms of Villa delle Palme create that atmosphere of age-old, noble Venetian buildings. In relaxing shades of green, with soft carpet and special sound-proof silk tapestries, the rooms are all new and fitted with adjustable air conditioning (hot/cold), minibar, telephone with direct outside line, Internet link via ADSL or analog connection and satellite TV.
All rooms are en-suite with a bidet, shower and hairdryer; each comes with complementary shampoo, shower gel and soap.
The rooms of this hotel in Lido di Venezia have big windows, with mirrored, double glazing and special filters to lessen the reflection of the sun, without reducing the light entering the rooms. Heavy curtains ensure complete darkness at night.

LOCATION
Villa delle Palme is located in a central area of Lido di Venezia, in a tree-lined, side street far from traffic, yet only ten minutes by speedboat to St. Mark’s Square.
Just 150 meters from the hotel, Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta, the public boat terminal going all over Venice and the main islands of the lagoon (Murano, Burano, Torcello, etc.). The Giardini stop is just five minutes via vaporetto, where the famous international art and architecture exhibition, the Biennale, is located.
Also leaving from Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta, buses to all of Lido and Chioggia and Pellestrina, picturesque fishing villages and the ancient village of Malamocco.
