Graphic design: what course will I choose?
Posted in Net Design, Teaching + Education at 10:43 am |

In graphic design education, there are several types of programs available consisting of associate, bachelor’s, and graduate degree programs, and certificate programs. Every single program has negative and positive benefits. The one that will allow you to fulfill your career goals is the best choice for you. We will take a look at the associate and bachelor’s degree programs so you can pick your best fit.
Professional status: In the professional world, there is still an unfair negative connotation attached to attaining “only” an associate degree. Employers, unfortunately, sometimes have the idea that the smart and talented attend four year schools, and those who do not are inferior as employees. It may not be true, and it is not fair, but that is how it is. Jobs will usually go to someone with a bachelor’s degree over someone holding an associate degree. Education wins every time when everything else is equal.
Career path: An associate degree will probably offer you the same job opportunities that a bachelor’s degree will, and you can begin your career much sooner.
Total Cost: The cost of an associate degree program is lower than that of a bachelor’s degree program., partially due to the simple fact that you have spent less money paying for fewer years of education.
Selection of either a bachelor’s degree program or an associate degree program in graphic design enables a student to enter an interesting profession which will be ever stimulating as new technology evolves.
